Muzium Padi Negeri Kedah merupakan muzium padi yang keempat yang dibuka di dunia selepas Jepun, Jerman dan Filipina. Nasi merupakan makanan ruji rakyat Malaysia. Nasi yang kita makan adalah berasal dari beras yang telah diproses dari pokok padi. Bersesuaian dengan Negeri Kedah sebagai Negeri Jelapang Padi maka penubuhan Muzium Padi di negeri ini sangat ideal.
Kalau anda menuju ke tingkat paling atas muzium ini anda dapat melihat galeri lukisan yang mana anda boleh duduk di kerusi yang terletak di tengah, kerusi ini akan membuat putaran 360 darjah secara perlahan untuk anda menikmati lukisan pemandangan sawah padi dan kawasan perkampungan yang terdapat di sekeliling sawah ini yang kelihatan agak realistik.

The Kedah State Rice Museum is the 4th rice museum to open in the world after Japan, Germany and the Philippines. Rice is the staple food of Malaysians. The rice we eat comes from rice that has been processed from the rice plant. In accordance with the state of Kedah as the state of rice reservoirs, the establishment of a rice museum in this state is ideal.
If you go to the top floor of this museum you can see a painting gallery where you can sit in a chair located in the middle, this chair will make a 360-degree rotation slowly for you to enjoy the paintings of the view of rice fields and the villages around the rice fields this looks quite realistic.
