Malaysian Youth Museum is located at Jalan Laksamana. Previously, this building was used as a General Post Office.
The museum was inaugurated by Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohammad who held the post of Prime Minister on 15 April 1992. Originally, this building was used as an Anglo-Chinese School or better known as Melaka High School during the Dutch administration.
The museum aims to be one of the main documentation centers for youth activities in Malaysia and internationally for research and information (pictures of youth leaders, trophies, uniforms, etc.), to keep records and details of youth establishment from all over the country. more systematic and orderly and know the level of awareness of the community, especially the youth on activities related to the community, race, and country.
